Voor de 5e editie legt dit evenement, dat plaatsvindt van 6 tot 24 september, een sterke nadruk op visuele beelden. Wat is jouw ambitie voor deze vijfde editie van het festival?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Ik geloof dat het publiek in onze samenleving meningen vormt door middel van beelden. Beelden laten de grootste impact achter en hebben voorrang op woorden. Ze weerspiegelen ook onze cultuur, vooral omdat de hedendaagse makers tot een generatie behoren die geboren is in het tijdperk van de beelden. Daarom was het belangrijk om de alomtegenwoordigheid van beelden in de elektronische culturele sfeer te onthullen, via alle verschillende vormen van expressie die daarvoor nodig zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ons doel is om het publiek te laten zien dat er meer te beleven valt dan wat de televisie of de grote producenten van commerci\u00eble cultuur te bieden hebben. Elektronische culturen ontwrichten omdat ze ernaar streven vrij te zijn en de \u2018dictaten\u2019 van bepaalde multinationale ondernemingen afwijzen. Ik wil een voorbeeld zijn dat bewijst hoe beelden en elektronische culturen verschillende stromingen omvatten, zoals de \u2018trans\u2019- en psychedelische, documentaire- of filmgenres die worden gepresenteerd in de serie \u2018New Image Programming\u2019, evenals de uitvoeringen van \u2018video-jockeys\u2019. \u201d, muziekvideo&rsquo;s en fotografie met het #rt Outsiders-festival. Daarnaast zullen twee conferenties gewijd zijn aan de steeds nauwere banden tussen elektronische muziek, film en videogames, waarbij de synergie tussen gamemakers, beeldmakers en geluidsmakers groeit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hoe verklaar je het groeiende belang van beeldspraak op het gebied van elektronische muziek?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Elektronische muziek alleen vormt nooit een visueel spektakel zoals een concert van David Bowie. Een DJ die muziek mixt, biedt geen theatrale ervaring. Er is een leegte om op te vullen, een scenografie om rond de muziek te ontwerpen. Daarom is beeldspraak een integraal onderdeel van de muziek, samen met de locatie en de ruimtelijke morfologie. In het elektronische domein zijn zowel beeld als technologie echter voortdurend in ontwikkeling. In termen van reguliere optredens was Pink Floyd de eerste grote architecten die licht en beeld integreerden met muziek op het podium. Zij waren de pioniers die een nieuw concept aan de locatie boden. De band cre\u00eberde een sfeer, een hele beleving, door muziek, beeld, video, locatie en licht met elkaar te verbinden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cVJing\u201d is een van de artistieke uitvoeringen die verband houden met elektronische muziek. Bovendien brengen steeds meer VJ&rsquo;s hun optredens op dvd uit. Wat symboliseert deze evolutie?<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>De praktijk van \u201cVJ-en\u201d is zeer gediversifieerd. Er zijn verschillende soorten VJ&rsquo;s: zij die beelden maken, gefilmd of door de computer, specifiek om deze later met muziek te mixen; degenen die gelijktijdig met de DJ werken; en anderen die een live optreden plannen met geprojecteerde beelden. Het videomedium blijft een uitdaging voor artiesten, omdat het moeilijk te verkopen is, vandaar het voordeel van dvd&rsquo;s. Laten we onszelf echter niet voor de gek houden: een kunstenaar moet geld verdienen. Door een creatie op een medium te fixeren en deze te commercialiseren, kunnen ze in hun levensonderhoud voorzien, vergelijkbaar met de manier waarop platen functioneren.
